COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

We thank God for the reducing number of positive cases at this time of Covid-19 in our community. However, the pandemic has had a heavy impact on churches including ours. We wanted to give you an update on how we, as a church, are responding to the virus and the impact.

First things first...
Based on registration data collected and personal conversations with you, I (Pastor Jacki) can say most of you who regularly attend worship in person are vaccinated, including children over the age of 5. Many of our adults have also received their booster shots. (If you have not, please do get vaccinated and boosted.)

Because of these factors, along with the cutting of expenses during this challenging time, we will hold our Breakfast Church Service on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays of the month, in in-person at 9:00 am, in The Guildhouse (the building behind the sanctuary). On the 4th Sunday of the month, we will have NSCC Chat & Chew Sunday Brunch with Pastor Jacki in the Home at 12:00 noon, the location will be sent by text. Of course, nothing is set in stone.

Second, we are committed to safety...
We are keenly aware that the pandemic is ongoing, and we take responsibility to protect ourselves and others seriously. In the interest of loving our neighbors, we are doing everything we can to keep each other, especially the most vulnerable among us, as safe as possible. All our buildings are disinfected weekly by our Facilities Manager. Masks will continue to be required for all in-person services regardless of vaccination status. If you feel ill, we request that you stay home and worship online.
